Advancing industry action, adoption, and education around sustainability in the equipment manufacturing industry brought representatives from AEM's Sustainability Council together in Rosemont, Illinois last week for a day-long, in-person meeting.
Led by Kirsten Mauritzen, senior sustainability manager for AEM member company Caterpillar, last week's meeting provided council members an opportunity to join one or more of AEM's sustainability workstreams and lay the foundation for future association activities and initiatives.
Key agenda items covered during the most recent meeting of the AEM Sustainability Council included:
In addition, Council members spent time meeting with their respective workstream groups to determine workstream governance, confirm scope and objectives, identify key priorities, and determine strategies and tactics for driving member and industry value.
